Its Cat MineStar Command autonomous haul-truck system has been commercially deployed at mining sites since 2013; the fleet has surpassed 5 billion tonnes of material autonomously hauled, and Caterpillar is now extending autonomy to construction equipment (excavators, dozers) via an expanded Nvidia partnership announced at CES 2026.
